How We Got XBT Featured On The App Store

Just yesterday we received the announcement from our client that our recently released app Extreme Basketball Tour is being featured on the App Store in the What’s Hot section. I wasn’t really sure what to say, but sure enough after following his instructions closely leading me through the App Store , there it was…

Featured on the App Store

We’re pretty excited because a fair bit of marketing has gone in to marketing the Extreme Basketball Tour app and consequently it’s been written and reviewed by a number of app reviewers.

I’m sure that the question on your mind is: How did you do it?

Fundamentally speaking, Extreme Basketball Tour doesn’t use any ‘cutting edge technology’ per se`. I think that what’s helped here is that it’s been well promoted and it’s pretty innovative. It’s also quite a striking app with beautiful design.

I’ll be honest though, we didn’t aim to get it featured on the App Store. It sort of just happened. We did everything we normally do and as a result the app is getting consistent downloads and now we’re able to tweak our marketing with all this extra attention to drive a higher conversion of goals within the app.
