A fast growing company needs an app to match

Welcome to the Bounce Revolution

The Problem

With the company’s rapid expansion they were launching three new facilities over the coming 12 months, so with that in mind they needed a whole lot more traffic.

Working closely with Antony Morell, Marketing Director and Ach Ratnayake, Digital Marketing & Events Manager, we listened to them speak about the company and the direction they are heading in.

And identified the company’s key objectives:

  • Boost traffic

    Rapid expansion means more trampoline gyms in VIC and NSW. That means we need more patrons.

  • Ramp-up exposure

    Our current exposure comes from word of mouth advertising and social media. How can we ramp that up?

  • Ensure Scalability

    We’re a fast growing company and our system is going to need to handle a heck-of-a lot of users as well as be deployable across a number of facilities.

    To capture high resolution photos of the patrons Bouncing into the foam-pit.

  • Wifi Geolocation

    To identify users and ensure they download the photos from the right facility.

  • 70" LCD TV Output

    To display the last 5 photos taken in a sliding format giving users visual representation.

  • Complex back-end server

    To facilitate communication between devices and store photos.

  • Web Application

    A smartphone app to let patrons access their favourite photos and allow Bounce to communicate and engage with them after leaving the facility.

  • Social media integration

    So that the patrons can share their favourite photos with their friends and followers.

An epic solution

Applying our thinking hats we went to work on designing a solution that would help to achieve the company’s key objectives all the whilst facilitating an incredible user experience for the Bounce patrons.

The idea of capturing users in mid-bounce was borne in our early conversations with Antony. And within a mere couple weeks of brainstorming, strategising and whiteboarding we returned to Bounce to present our ideas, and outlayed an epic solution:
