Key Features Ep 1

Episode 1: Convenience Is A Fundamental Factor Of Mobile App Development

At Buzinga, we’ve researched 50 of the most successful tech companies and products to understand what it is about them that’s made them so successful.

What’s made them so special? What technologies and concepts have they leveraged to get to where they are?

What we came up with was ’10 Key Factors’ that these companies have leveraged that has contributed to their success.

We’ve researched companies including Snapchat, Instagram, Google Maps & Facebook, and turned our findings into a 10 part Youtube series.

Our findings have been turned into a highly successful whitepaper – The Key Factors Of A Successful Tech Product – which you can download by clicking on the image at the bottom of this blog.

In this video today, I’m going to talk to you about the first key factor of mobile app success:

Convenience.

What’s the shortest distance between two points…?

…it’s simply a straight line.

Simplicity and convenience is fundamental factor of building a successful tech product.

You need to apply this understanding, not just to the application, but to the whole journey.

Where does your customer find out about your product? How do they gain access to it?

What messages do they need to see or read in order to understand the value in your service?

Remember, you’re selling an experience. It’s not about flashy colours and snazzy features.

It’s about simplicity and convenience. It’s getting them from point A to point B as quickly as possible.
